Carlos Acosta y José Manuel González ganan en El Time |
Saltó la sorpresa en la XXV Subida a El Time, tercera cita del Campeonato Regional de Canarias y segunda del Provincial de Santa Cruz de Tenerife de Montaña, además de ser la primera del Insular de Asfalto de La Palma y del Campeonato de Promoción Seguridad Vial, ya que el palmero Carlos Acosta (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI), en carrozados, y el gomero José Manuel González (BRC Suzuki 1000), en barquetas, fueron los inesperados ganadores de la cita disputada ayer en la Isla Bonita.
Acosta realizó su mejor tiempo en la primera manga, en la que tardaría 3:25.708 en recorrer los 6.150 metros del recorrido, mientras que el líder del Regional, el tinerfeño Roberto Negrín (Evo VIII), que no salía en la última manga por un problema mecánico, se quedaba a 6.853 del ganador. Tercero y primero del Grupo TA acabaría Walter Delgado (Mitsubishi Galant VR 4), quedándose a 0.619 de Negrín. Quinto sería Evelio Rodríguez (Evo VIII), sexto Andrés Iván Martín (Ford Escort Cosworth), séptimo y primero del Grupo N Adelto Concepción (Evo VIII) y la séptima y primera del Grupo A2 sería para Antonio Pérez (BMW S.T. 2.0). Primero de la Promoción fue Aarón Afonso (Peugeot 306 2.0).
En barquetas González aventajó al grancanario Julián Jesús Falcón (Speed Car GT 1000) en 4.100 y al tinerfeño Fran Hernández, con otra BRC, en 5.423.
